SiP steps first into Macau WAP

From the beginning of last month, the jackpot system and online casino management solution from Systems in Progress (SiP) has been managing a three-level wide area jackpot in the Lisboa and Golden Dragon casinos in Macau. A total of 94 slot machines are connected in the venues operated by sociedade de Jogos de Macau S.A (SJM). The smallest jackpot has already been hit more than 6,400 times, just as the company planned. The installation of the SiP hardware in the Aruzew slots as well as the systems set-up and configuration of local jackpots had already been completed by the Macau staff when SiP’s Senior Project Manager, Max Pessnegger, arrived. “Due to the superb preparation work performed at the two venues , my part of the implementation went like clockwork,” commented Mr. Pessnegger. After completing the few remaining configuration steps, such as making the local jackpots wide area ready, Mr. Pessnegger delivered short training sessions to the casino staff and provide go-live assistance. Maintenance Manager Sunny Mok is “extremely pleased about the easy, convenient browser-based the easy,

Astra restructures its technical support team
Following the appointment of Alec Morris as Senior Technical Support Engineer, Novomatic Group’s UK subsidiary, Astra Games, has announced the successful restructure of its technical support department. Progressive wins Nevada approvals
Progressive Gaming International has received approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission for its newest table game, Texas Hold’Em Poker.
